The Lower School, grades One through Five, focuses on creating a solid academic foundation.  The individualized curriculum is designed to maximize the learning style of each child with an integrated-day program, emphasizing experiential learning as well as traditional approaches. The standard core curriculum includes: Literature, Language Arts, Mathematics, History, Science, Spanish, Integrated Studies, Performing and Fine Arts, Outdoor Education, and Yoga.
